Chery Auto Philippines has been consistently growing since the brand was first reintroduced in the country by United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI). For the first six months of 2021, Chery vehicle sales in the country has grown 351 percent versus the same period in 2020.
It’s not only the first half of the year sales that Chery Auto PH is celebrating though as its June sales this year also shot up by an almost-similar 355 percent compared to June last year, reflecting consistency in the brand’s performance.
The company attributes this growth to its competitive product lineup, first-in-the-industry aftersales services, and its rapidly expanding dealership network. This growth also reflects the warm reception of the Philippine market towards the all-new Chery Tiggo 7 Pro. 37% of total Chery sales in the first six months of the year was of the new crossover which was just introduced early this year. Also, the Tiggo 7 Pro posted June sales 160 percent higher than the previous month of May. Orders for July onwards project continuous sustained demand for the seemingly popular model.
Another hot-selling Chery marshal is the entry-level Tiggo 2, which comprises 33% of total Chery Tiggo model sales. Costing less than many hatchbacks and subcompact sedans, the Tiggo 2 presents a compelling proposition with its SUV space and versatility at a price that starts at just Php 695,000.

Unlike most car brands that raised prices due to the new safeguard duties, Chery Auto Philippines has also retained its old prices all through March and April. The brand is further sweetening the offer with irresistible cash discounts on all Chery Tiggo models ranging from Php 75,000 to Php 120,000.
The dealership network is growing further despite the logistical challenges of the pandemic. To date, its network has expanded to 19 full-service dealerships nationwide and still continues to grow as the brand continues to scout for new unserved areas throughout the metropolis and in the rest of the country.
