With the frequent and confusing changes to community quarantine classifications in the Philippines caused by the pandemic, many industries continue to suffer or experience difficulty in bouncing back. That however isn’t the case for Chery Auto Philippines.
Despite the adverse effects of the pandemic on the automotive industry, Chery Auto Philippines continues to experience record sales month after month.
For the month of July 2021, the brand, under the local distributorship of United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI) recorded a 122% increase in sales versus the previous month. Not only that, the brand also saw its year-to-date sales for 2021 already beat 2020’s full-year sales by 42%. This was achieved in just seven months.
These figures clearly reflect the fast-growing demand for the brand’s range of Tiggo crossovers. The brand’s top-selling model is the Tiggo 7 Pro compact SUV which was launched early this year, followed closely by the subcompact Tiggo 2, with the Tiggo 8 7-seater midsize SUV and subcompact Tiggo 5X taking the third and fourth place ranking in the lineup.
“The highly encouraging positive results came from a combination of factors led by the growing awareness of the Chery brand and the high value buyers get from our feature-packed crossovers,” declared Chery Auto Philippines President Rommel Sytin.
“The intermittent lockdowns and the relentless heavy rains underscore the importance of mobility more than ever and people are really searching for products that give maximum value and mobility for their hard-earned money. Our high-riding Tiggo models with water-wading depths as much as 600mm meet all their needs,” Sytin added.
One possible reason that Chery Auto Philippines sales continue to increase is the fact that they offer industry-leading warranty and PMS programs, which boasts an industry-leading 10-year 1 million-km engine warranty, a 5-year general warranty, and a FREE full preventive maintenance service (PMS) for 3 years.
With Chery Auto Philippines sales increasing continuously, it’s not surprising why we’re starting to see more and more Chery vehicles on the road.
